4.8 Controlling the VHF-UHF Bi-Directional Amplifier

Controlling and monitoring the Signal Booster requires that a properly configured 
computer with a web browser is connected via an Ethernet cable, such as the one 
shown in 

Figure 4-3

. 

During installation or maintenance, the Network Interface port of a computer can 
temporarily be connected to the external GUI port on the bottom of the Signal 
Booster.

WARNING:

The RJ45 Ethernet port on the external surface of the enclosure is for 
maintenance use only. This port cannot be used as a permanent
