SchnarchStopp – The Anti-Snore-Brace
Breathing through the mouth in a supine position makes the respiratory tracts constrict and
frequently causes snoring. The Anti-Snore-Brace SchnarchStopp promotes lying in a lateral
position and thus enables to sleep without snoring. The brace consists of a pressure device
made of foam (Wendestopp) with two plastic plugs and a bandage.
Indication
•
Sleep disorders caused by snoring
No contraindications are known.
How to apply
•
Unfold the brace and insert the Wendestopp with the aid of the enclosed pouch into the pocket.
Then close the pocket with the hook-and-loop fastener to secure the position of the Wendestopp.
•
If necessary you can enhance the effect by putting the two red plastic plugs into the holes of the
Wendestopp. Make sure that they do not press on the spine.
•
Put the brace around the chest and close it on the front side with the hook-and-loop fastener.
It can be worn both over and under the nightwear.
Important informations
•
Do not use the brace any longer if you keep on lying in a supine position. Consult a doctor if there
are no signs of improvement though using the brace since the reasons for the sleep disorder
might be profounder.
•
Do not use the plastic plugs when suffering from osteoporosis or back problems!
•
For hygienic reasons used braces cannot be returned!
