7. Remove the 4 screws from the generator’s handle. See Fig. 5 below.
8. Remove the generator’s right shell. Maneuver the gas tank up and over the engine assembly.
1. NOTE: this may be difficult to do. If desired, you may partially disassemble the other half of the
generator’s shell to make disassembly easier. For instructions, see section “Optional – removing the
muffler cover” on p. 5 below.
2. NOTE: in these pictures, the generator’s left cover has been removed; however, this is not necessary if
you choose to follow the instructions in section “Optional – removing the muffler cover”.
9. Pivot the shell and gas tank toward the control panel. Leave the fuel line connected to the gas tank and the
inverter wiring attached to the ignition module. See Fig. 6 below for what this looks like.
