Performing a measurement

If you would like to measure your blood pressure while sitting,
you must also observe these instructions:
− Sit in a relaxed position when measuring your blood
pressure and lean back.
− Place your feet flat on the ground.
− Do not cross your legs.
Starting a blood pressure measurement
• You can always cancel blood pressure
measurements that are in progress (e.g. when
the pressure in the cuff becomes too extreme)
by pushing the START/STOP button.
• You may skip steps 1–3 if you do not intend to
save the measurement results into memory.

to select either user icon 1 or user icon 2.
This allows the measurements to be saved into the memory
slots of the selected user after the measurement is done.
3. Push the START/STOP button

to save the setting.
4. Push the START/STOP button to start the measurement.
5. You will hear a beep and the advice that the measurement
will now begin.
If there is residual air in the cuff
9 from the previous
measurement, air will be released from the cuff until the
pressure is stabilized before the measurement. During this
time, the air release indicator

will be flashing on the
display.
