4.5 Use With Filter Leaf

MF90 systems incorporating a filter-leaf assembly use a fine mesh screen to filter impurities and

debris from the oil. The oil is pumped through the screen and then returned to the frypot. The

advantages of the filter-leaf include unlimited re-use and the elimination of paper cost.

Filter pans with filter-leaf assemblies are assembled as illustrated below:

1.

Remove the filter pan lid.

2.

Place the filter leaf in the bottom of the pan.

3.

Apply the manufacturer’s recommended amount of filter powder.

4.

Replace the lid, ensuring the pipe from the filter leaf extends above the pan lid.

5.

Attach the vacuum hose from the pump assembly to the filter leaf pipe extension.
