Scope of delivery:
1 x base plate for cantilever umbrella, 1 x adapter plate, 4 x countersunk screw
M8x25 mm (or alternatively 4 x countersunk screw M8x20 mm, included with the cantilever
umbrella), 4 x washer, 4 x snap ring, 4 x nut, 4 x flange sleeve, 4 x flat-head screw M10x60 mm,
1 x 5 mm Allen key
You will also need the following from the
cantilever umbrella packaging:
1 x adapter, 1 x 6 mm
Allen key
Screw the adapter plate to the adapter using the 4 countersunk screws (M8x25 mm or M8x20 mm)
and tighten using the 5 mm Allen key.
Remove the slide protection (wooden strips) from one side of the pallet.
and set the base plate up.
Now place one flange sleeve in each of the 4 holes.
On the front side of the base plate, align the holes in the adapter plate with the bore holes in the
granite plate and insert the flat-head screws (4 x M10x60 mm).
Place a washer followed by a snap ring on the back of each screw and secure with a nut.
Using the 6 mm Allen key, tighten all screws, holding the nuts on the back in position with a
17 mm offset box wrench as you do so.
Now put the base plate in its final position. You can compensate for minor unevenness in the
subsurface by screwing the adjusting screws in or out, thus ensuring that the umbrella is standing
firmly. To do this, you will need a 17 mm open-ended wrench.
