 Functional Test

7  Functional Test

Carry out a functional test of the case after each use (or at 
least every two years if the case is not used). If you disco-
ver an error during the test, you are not permitted to use the 
emergency case again until the error has been resolved. 
Follow these instructions for a functional test:
1.  Make sure the inserts, cover, ampoule holders, case 

corners and the handle are not damaged.

2.  Check that the case locks are easy to open and close.
3.  Make sure the case hinges and cover can be moved 

easily and are correctly secured.

Replace defective parts.

8  Maintenance

8.1  Intervals

The emergency cases are maintenance-free. Observe the 
intervals for regular functional tests (see Section “7 Functio-
nal Test” on page 12).
We recommend allowing the manufacturer’s (Weinmann) 
expert personnel to carry out maintenance and repairs.
