7. Maintenance / Service / Repair
The device is maintenance-free when operated un-
der its defined operating conditions.
However, it is recommended that the following
maintenance procedures be regularly carried out in
the interests of keeping the device in a constant
state of operating readiness:
• When operating, ensure that waste pieces of
mounting rail do not block the device; this is par-
ticularly applicable during cutting and punching
operations.
• Clean the device daily, meaning remove left-over
pieces of mounting rails.
• Remove the small particles from the cutting sur-
faces that occur during cutting and punching oper-
ations.
• Following daily cleaning procedures, the cutting
and punching device should be brushed with resin-
free multi-purpose grease.
Depending on its work load and how often it is used,
the mounting-rail cutting and punching machine
must be checked regularly to ensure that it functions
flawlessly.
More extensive repairs must be carried out by
trained and qualified personnel only.
If it is not possible to carry out the corresponding
checks on site, they can be conducted by the manu-
facturer or by a representative authorised by him.
