Replacement of the retaining ring (Pos� 16) of connectors with the sealing
range up to Ø20�0 mm

Apply pilot pressure to the connector. The clamping jaws (Pos. 3) and the front
seal (Pos. 7) must be relaxed.
Î
Slightly push two clamp-
ing jaw segments (Pos. 3)
apart with the WEH
®
O-ring
picker so that a small gap is
created.
Î
Insert the
WEH
®
O-ring picker into the
gap and lift the
retaining ring (Pos. 16).
Î
Roll the retaining ring over the
shaft (Pos. 8).
Î
Let the loose clamping jaws (Pos. 3) fall off the connector.
Î
Check the clamping jaws for damage. If they are damaged, replace the clamping
jaws.
Î
Roll the new
retaining ring (Pos. 16) over
the shaft (Pos. 8) into the
area between the
sealing disc (Pos. 6) and the
spacer (Pos. 10).
