Replacing the wire filter insert (Pos. 3)
Î
Replace the wire filter insert (Pos. 3) if it is too contaminated, damaged or if you
can not rule out the possibility that flammable components have entered the filter.
Cleaning is then no longer possible and sufficient.
Î If there is still residue stuck on the wire loops after cleaning the filter or the filter has
been damaged, then the wire filter insert (Pos. 3) may not be reused. Replace the
filter.
Note: Always use a new O-ring and back-up ring when replacing the wire filter insert.

Carefully pull the new
back-up ring onto the
inlet housing (Pos. 2) using
WEH
®
Assembly tool
part no. 120513.
Attention: Be careful not to
damage the back-up ring!
Î Slide the
WEH
®
Assembly tool
part no. 120514 onto the
new back-up ring.
Î Calibrate the back-up ring for
approx. 10 seconds.
Î
Slide the new O-ring over the
WEH
®
Assembly tool
part no. 120513 onto the
inlet housing (Pos. 2).
Attention: The O-ring must
not twist during this process!
