9.1.6 Numeric Output Component: Data Numeric Output
It shows the value of a variable on the display. The allowed types are: BOOL, SINT, USINT
(BYTE), INT, UINT (WORD), DINT, UDINT (DWORD) and REAL.
The properties of the output component are: line (y), column (x), width, update period,
blink, data type, and number of decimal digits.
The width must foresee sign (in case of variable with sign) and the decimal point, if there is.
The blink property makes the displayed value blink.
The update period is the time in milliseconds (ms) to update the displayed value with the
content of the variable.
Example:
Number of decimal places: 2
Variable type: WORD (16-bit integer)
Value stored in the marker: 12258
Displayed value: 122.58
9.1.7 Message Component: Output with Texts for a Variable
Shows texts for certain values of a variable. The allowed types are: BOOL, SINT, USINT
(BYTE), INT, UINT (WORD), DINT and UDINT (DWORD). The properties of the output
component are: line (y), column (x), width, update period, data type and a table with the
values and texts.
The width must be sufficient to hold the texts that will be shown.
This component is particularly useful for variables that store status, for instance, a boolean
variable. It can be shown: ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.
The values which do not appear on the table will be shown numerically.
The update period is the time in milliseconds (ms) to update the displayed value with the
content of the variable.
