P0358 – Encoder Fault Configuration

Description:
This parameter allows disabling the fault detection by software: a) F067 – Inverted Encoder/Motor Wiring, executed
when the Self-Tuning routine is inactive (P0408 = 0) and b) F065, F066 – Encoder Signal Fault (SW). Parameter
P0358 is used in the vector control mode with encoder (P0202 = 4).
The verification by software of faults F065, F066 and F067 will remain disabled when P0358 = 0. During the self-
tuning (P0408 >1), fault F067 will be always active, regardless the setting of P0358.
NOTE!
The fault F067 is always disabled when P0202 is programmed 6 (PM motor with encoder), even if
P0358 is programmed 1 or 3.

The parameter P0359 allows enabling the motor current stabilizing function.
This function eliminates oscillations in the motor current caused by operation at low speeds with little load.
