Integration into Fuel System
CAUTION
Fig. 17 shows correct fuel line connections
versus incorrect connection. Please observe.
CAUTION
Fuel pump MUST be mounted horizontally to
function correctly.
ATTENTION
Prior to fuel pump installation, push rubber fuel
line connectors and two clamps over each side
of fuel pump damper. Install damper on fuel
pump located on rear side of vehicle
crossmember and above driveshaft. Tighten
clamps leaving the outboard clamp loose for
fuel line connection.
– (1) Fuel Pump P-Clamp
– (2) Heater Fuel Pump
– (2) Vehicle Driveshaft
ATTENTION
Route fuel pump harness from heater through
rear crossmember access hole. Secure to left rear
heater mounting stud.
– (1) Fuel Pump Harness
ATTENTION
Wrap excess fuel pump harness as shown and
secure to fuel line connector.
– (1) Fuel Pump Damper (Outlet)
– (2) Fuel Pump Harness
