Powering Up the HPSA-7100-R

7.1.0.1

 Trouble LED Descriptions

If any of the Trouble LEDs are illuminated on the Audio and Monitoring Bridge, the 
HPSA-7100-R requires attention. The table below describes the meaning of each Trouble 
LED. Refer to Table 7.1 and  Figure 7.2 for Audio and Monitoring Bridge LED 
descriptions and locations. 

THE AC POWER BUTTON DOES NOT ILLUMINATED WHEN AC POWER 
IS PRESENT WITHIN THE CABINET. USE AN AC VOLTMETER TO 
VERIFY THE PRESENCE OR ABSENCE OF AC POWER AT THE AC 
INPUT TERMINAL BLOCK OF THE HPSA.

AMB Trouble LED Descriptions

The No Battery trouble LED activates if the battery voltage is less than 
approximately 16 VDC. The No Battery trouble LED deactivates if the 
battery voltage is greater than approximately 16 VDC. If the

LED is illuminated, the batteries are depleted or disconnected; however, 

AC power is present. For more information, please refer to Section 10.3, 

Battery Maintenance. (D11)

Low Batt
(Low 
Battery)

The Low Battery trouble activates if the battery voltage is less than 
approximately 46 - 46.5 VDC. The Low Battery trouble deactivates if 
the battery voltage is greater than approximately 46 - 46.5 VDC. Addi-
tionally, the Low Battery trouble deactivates when the No Battery trou-
ble is active. (D12)

Tamper

If the 

Tamper

 LED is illuminated, the electronics cabinet door is open.

Amps

If the

 LED is illuminated, there is a Trouble in the Amplifier cir-
