Connecting Multiple HPSA-7100-Rs Using a
Single NAC
:
1.
End-of-Line resistors (EOLR), (not
shown in the
Audio In line in the
figure), shall be connected at the
furthest HPSA. Verify the SP40S
and HPSA are configured for the
same output voltage settings prior to
energizing the system; failure to
configure the same setting could
damage the HPSA.

Multiple HPSAs can be controlled
from a single SP40S. EOLR, are not
shown in the figure, however, an
EOLR must be connected on the
Audio In and Trouble Contacts on
the furthest HPSA. When connecting
to the HPSAs, break the wire runs at
each terminal block on the HPSA,
DO NOT loop the wire under the
terminals
Trouble contacts can be daisy chained
together, with an EOLR placed across
multiple Trouble contacts. This
configuration will result in a single HPSA
Trouble being reported, which includes
multiple HPSA Trouble circuits. The
Operator will need to troubleshoot the
HPSA to identify the specific Trouble
circuit is causing the reported trouble.
