Replacing Fuses

10.2

REPLACING FUSES

If any of the functions represented by the fuses listed in Table 10.1fails, replace the fuse.

Refer to the Figure 10.2 for the fuse locations on the HPSA-7100-R power distribution
board.

To replace a fuse:

1. Open the electronics compartment door.
2. Power down the unit by pushing the red power button adjacent to the PDB.
3. Turn off the AC source or remove the AC connector mate from

TB7

of the PDB

4. Disconnect the DC power at the battery cabinet.

5. Remove and replace any bad fuses.
6. Turn on the AC source or reconnect the AC connector mate to

TB7

of the PDB.

7. Reconnect the DC power at the battery cabinet.
8. When finished, power up the unit as described in Section 7.1 and then close the

cabinet door.

DISCONNECT ALL POWER SOURCES AND ENSURE THE POWER
BUTTON HAS BEEN TURNED OFF PRIOR TO REPLACING FUSES.
