Measuring Amplifier Output Voltage Under No-Load Conditions

1. Move the

True AC V

RMS

Multimeter

to the (+) and (-) terminals of TB1

(Channel 1) as shown in Figure 7.13.to

measure the Output Voltage

of the

Amplifier Board. For maximum rated output, the Amplifier Output Voltage must

be within the stipulated range identified in Table 7.3 for no-load conditions.

ENSURE ALL WIRES FROM THE AMPLIFIER BOARD TO THE DRIVERS
ARE DISCONNECTED BEFORE PROCEEDING

Most level adjustments used by the HPSA-7100-R have been preset at the
factory specifically for the number of speakers that have been ordered.
Only the Line-In, Master Volume and Master Limit shall be adjusted during
the activation process, due to the site specific requirements such as External
Source level input. An explanation of all levels and their respective default
values can be found in Table 7.3.
