8.4 - Creation of the Script file
We strongly recommand the use of the software tool to create the script - download from www.id-
al.com - If, nevertheless you wish to create the script file without using the assistant, you will find
hereafter the necessary instructions to do so.
File SCRIPT.TXT :
The script file must be named SCRIPT.TXT (CAPITAL letters) and stored in the SYSTEM (CAPITAL letters)
directory) of the CD-ROM. A script file is made of sections (command block), written in between block
delimiters [xx]. The script file must always start with a delimiter.
The script is composed of 5 sections
Description of commands :
[CD] - Copy Directory
[CF] - Copy File
[DD] - Delete Directory
[DF] - Delete File
[ES] - End Script
CAUTION : THE SCRIPT DOES NOT ALLOW TO CREATE OR DELETE MAIN DIRECTORIES AT THE
ROOT OF THE HARD DISK. TO ORGANIZE THE STRUCTURE OF THE HDD, IT IS NECESSARY TO USE
THE USB LINK. THE PURPOSE OF THE SCRIPT IS TO UPDATE THE HDD - IT IS NOT A HDD FULL
MANAGEMENT TOOL.
Important notes :
- A section is always written in between 2 delimiters [xx].
