BDA Block Diagram

1. Up-Link Diplexer - has low bandpass insertion loss and high selectivity

2. Down-Link Pre-amp - is a low noise amplifier that drives the Down-Link

HPA and offers 46dB Gain

3. Down-Link HPA – is a high power amplifier with an ALC circuit which

offers 43dB Gain

4. Up-Link MPA – is a medium power amplifier with an ALC circuit which

offers 43dB Gain

5. Up-Link Pre-amp - is a low noise amplifier that drives the Up-Link MPA

and offers 46dB Gain

6. Down-Link Tx filter is enhanced for High Power applications, preventing

arching when the power amplifier approaches the 1dB compression point.
