Startup & Operation:
1.
Slowly turn on the water supply.
2.
Press the red pressure relief button on top of the housing. Hold the button down until
water comes out from underneath the button.
3.
Check for and repair any leaks. If Necessary, tighten the swing bolts with a crescent
wrench or by sliding the shaft of a large screwdriver through the swing bolt eyelet.
4.
Plug in the UV power supply. A green light on the power supply indicates that the lamp
is working properly. A red light and audible alarm indicates that the lamp is either
disconnected or has failed.
The system is now ready to provide filtered water. Periodically check the pressure gauges while
water is flowing through the system. Replace the filter cartridge if the difference between the
inlet and outlet pressures reaches 25 psi.
Maintenance:
Filter Cartridge – Replace every 6 to 12 months depending on feed water
quality or if the difference between the inlet and outlet pressure is greater
than 25 psi while water is flowing.
1.
Unplug the UV power supply and allow the lamp to cool for 30
