Procedure - Removal

Step 1 - preparation

Rotate the Side-Trimmer away from the
booklet maker.

See “Move the Side-Trimmer” on
page 16.

Use the mains ON/OFF switch to turn
OFF the Side-Trimmer.

See “Turn On the Side-Trimmer” on
page 5.

Look through the top window of the
Side-Trimmer.

Note the position of the pivot-bearings.

See Figures 16 and 17.

If the pivot-bearings are not visible:

There is enough space to remove the
book supports.

• Open the top cover of the Side-

Trimmer.

• Go to “Step 2 - remove the centre

book support”.

See Figure 17 on page 18

If the pivot-bearings are visible:

• Use the mains ON/OFF switch to

turn ON the Side-Trimmer.

• Look through the top window of the

P2T. The pivot-bearings will move.

• When the pivot bearings are not

visible, then turn off the P2T.

• Open the top cover of the Side-

Trimmer.

• Go to “Step 2 - remove the centre

book support”.
