9.6.2

Injection valve maintenance

The chemical injectors should be unscrewed from the pipe location and cleaned every six
months. The ball bearing located on the injector's outlet should be checked for correct
operation by placing a blunt object into the end of the injector to check the ball is moving
freely. Make sure caution is taken when completing this process and personal protective
equipment is in place.

When using liquid chlorine, the injector may become blocked up more often.
