The RockBoard
®
Power LT XL is a rechargeable power station for effects pedals, so you can
run them independent from the wall outlet. No more worrying about your 9V batteries dying mid
song. You can also forget about searching for a wall outlet on stage to power your pedal board.
The RockBoard
®
Power LT XL is equipped with powerful, long-lasting and rechargeable
lithium-ion batteries to supply effects pedals up to 50 hours or more with hum free 9V DC
current. The recharge time for the unit is about 7 hours.

Power LT XL:
• Connect the included power supply/charger with the USB-cable and plug this into the Micro-
USB-input on the left side of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL. Connect the power supply to a
100-230V-AC wall outlet.
• You can also charge the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL via the USB-Port of a computer. To do so
connect the Micro-USB-Input on the left side of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL with the USB-
port on your computer using the included USB-cable.
• Charge the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL for 7 hours continuously and completely before first use.
Warming of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL during charging is normal.
• Charging is complete (7 hours for full charge), when all LEDs are permanently on. Now the
power supply/charger can be removed from the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL and the wall outlet.
• The RockBoard
®
Power LT XL can now be activated by pressing the button on the top of the
unit.
• The 4 LEDs above this button give information about the charging state of the battery:
• LED1 - LED4 on
: 100 - 75 %
• LED1 - LED3 on
: 75 - 50 %
• LED1 - LED2 on
: 50 - 25 %
• LED1 on or all LEDs off : 25 - 0 %
• Please ensure to only connect effects pedals suitable for 9V DC (direct current, negative
center) directly to the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL.
• For effects pedals suitable for 9V DC with center positive, you also will need the supplied
polarity change adaptor cable.
• If possible, remove any 9V batteries from the effects pedals.
• Now you can connect your effects pedals as usual to the two 9V DC outputs of the
RockBoard
®
Power LT XL (front of housing); also with the supplied daisy-chain cable, if you
like.

• USB-output: Charge a mobile phone or smart device via an optional standard USB-charging
cable.
• Depending on the connected effects pedals, the maximum battery power is between 15 and
50 hours plus!

• Please pay attention to the maximum battery capacity of 6600 mAh and do not connect too
many (“hungry”) effects pedals at the same time.
• The batteries of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL can also easily be recharged while playing.
• Because of the use of rechargeable batteries, no ground loop hum may occur. In addition, both
9V outputs of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL are electrically separated from each other. The
supplied AC power supply/charger can’t generate ground loop hum when properly used. Make
sure to cover unused/unprotected daisy chain pins with the supplied plastic caps to help avoid
any unwanted noise.
• Please turn the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL off when not in use by pressing the On/Off-Switch.
Otherwise the device will discharge automatically!
• The ideal operating and storage temperature for the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL is in the range
of 32-104 °F.
• Avoid exposure of the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL to direct sunlight.
• Do not use the RockBoard
®
Power LT XL in humid or wet environment.
