Place winch and mounting plate into position on the frame tubes see figures 2 thru 5. Attach mounting
plate with 4, 1/4-20 x 1 u-bolts hex nuts and lock washers.

Attach the roller or cast hawse fairlead to the fairlead strap supplied in the mounting kit, the fasteners
needed will be found in the winch hardware package, see figures 6 and 7. Note: if you are using a cast
hawse fairlead that came with the winch it may be necessary to remove it from the fairlead plate that came
with the winch, reuse the fasteners that where used, to attach it to the fairlead strap.
5.
Attach the fairlead strap with the roller or cast hawse fairlead attached to the front frame tubes see
figures 6 and 7. Attach using 4, 1/4-20 x 1 1/8 U-bolts, hex nuts, and lock washers.
