II. INSTALLATION CONTINUED

  Remove the bracket bolts from the original bracket.  Install the winch mounting bracket to the

original bracket using the 5/16-18 bolts, washers and lock nuts,

and

.

Do not tighten fasteners at this time.

5.  

Install the winch onto the mounting bracket with the two lower bolts and lock washers,

(upper winch mounting bolts will be mounted later with the plastic brush guard and fairlead).

Note:  The motor should be on the “right” side, when looking at the front of the ATV.

Torque lower winch bolts to approximately to 21 ft-lbs.

Install and tighten upper frame bolts, bracket bolts and lower frame bolts to an approximate

torque of 21 ft-lbs,
