Grapple Swivel:
The grapple is designed with a hydraulic
driven swivel in its mounting head. Use the
right hand joy stick on the control panel to
operate the swivel.
Use the swivel to align the log with the trailer
or pile as required.

Power Lines:
The boom and dipper assembly can be raised
high enough during operation to contact some
overhead power lines. Stay at least 50 feet
(15 m) away from power lines. Remember,
electrocution can occur without direct contact.
13.
Load Distribution:
Always place the load in the centre of the trail-
er to maintain a balanced weight distribution
on the tires and trailer frame. The best results
are obtained when the logs area placed on
the side opposite where the load is picked up.
14.
Tie Downs:
Do not pile the load above the side posts to
minimize the chance of logs rolling off the
load. Always tie down and secure load before
moving or transporting.
