HI-DUMP
®
ATTACHMENT ADJUSTMENTS
1. Adjust the lift section of the Hi-Dump
®
by adjusting the two long control rods with ball
joints on the ends. These ball joints have LH and RH threads. To adjust, loosen the jam
nuts on each one and turn the rods. They must be adjusted equally.
2. Check the
LIFT
operation as follows:
The front of the catcher should lift about 1” (25.4mm) before the rear starts to rise. If the
front raises more than 1” (25.4mm) before the rear starts to rise, shorten the control rods.
If the back raises before the front raises 1” (25.4mm), or if the back of the box is slightly
raised in the full down position, lengthen the control rods. Always adjust rods equally.
3. Check the
DUMP
operation as follows:
Raise the lift section about 12" (30.5cm). Now fully tilt the dump section.
Loosen the two bolts that attach the dump hydraulic cylinder.
Lower the catcher box to the full down position and retighten the two cylinder mount
bolts.
Lower the lift to the full down position and recheck dump operation.
