How to change the battery:
• Undo the screw in the base of the alarm.
• Lift the base cover on to its hinge and replace the battery with a 9 volt
alkaline battery.
• Please ensure the battery is inserted correctly as incorrect insertion will
prevent the alarm from working and may damage the alarm.
• Close the base cover and re-tighten the screw.
• Always test the alarm after changing the batteries. The alarm will operate
for up to 2 hours constant use with a fresh battery.
Warning:
• The effectiveness of this alarm is due to its extremely loud and
powerful siren, which produces 138 decibels of sound at source
(125 decibels is the normal pain threshold of human hearing).
• As a result, prolonged exposure can cause permanent hearing
damage.
• DO NOT ACTIVATE THE ALARM UNNECESSARILY
• Please take care to avoid endangering small children and pets.
• Walk the Walk and the manufacturer will not accept any
responsibility for any loss, damage or personal injury sustained
while in possession of this product whatever the cause or reason.
Guarantee:
• The personal alarm is guaranteed against defects in materials
and workmanship in normal use for a period of 1 year.
• This guarantee does not include the battery but is invalidated where
a replacement battery has been incorrectly fitted.
• This guarantee is only valid if the alarm has not been altered, modified
or repaired by anyone other than the manufacturer.
