5. Preparing the device for use
5.1. Charging the batteries
■
Plug the charging cable into the socket of the charger and then the
power adapter into the socket of the power supply.
NOTE
Compare the local power supply with the connected load of the device. If
the values do not match, please contact [email protected].
■
The charging starts.
■
The LED charge indicator lights light up depending on the charge
level.
■
As soon as the battery is charged, all indicator lights are lit.
NOTE
To charge a battery fully takes about 4 hours.
NOTE
For an ideal battery life, please charge the battery fully befor the first use.
Then use it until it is completely empty. Charge it again fully. Repeat this at
least twice.
■
Insert charged battery into the battery holder on the back of the light
until you can hear it click into place.
■
Mount the light onto your camera via the shoe adapter or onto a
tripod.
■
Make sure the light is mounted securely before using it.
5.2. Using the mains adapter
■
Plug the power supply cable into the LED light. Then plug the mains
adapter into the wall outlet.
NOTE
Compare the local power supply with the connected load of the device.
If the values do not match, please contact [email protected].
NOTE
After use, disconnect the light from the mains by unplugging the mains
adapter from the wall outlet.
6. Operating the device
• Switch on the lamp on with the On/Off switch on the device.
• Adjust the desired light intensity with the brightness dimmer control.
• Adjust the desired colour temperature with the appropriate controller.
(depending on model type)
• After use operate the On/Off switch to switch off the lamp.

8. Maintaining the device
8.1. Check and service the device regularly
Before each use, check the LED light and all its electric accessories for
damages. If there is a damage, have the device repaired by a qualified elec-
trician before using it.
