5. Mounting

Disconnect the luminaire from the
power supply.
5.1 Mounting the module in a
LAVIGO or LAVIGO VTL free-
standing luminaire
NOTE:
If the module has already been
mounted ex works, you can immedi-
ately start configuring the swarm con-
trol, see chapter 7 “Configuring
the swarm control”, page 42. You can
identify a mounted module by a part of
the antenna protruding from the luminaire
head at the top.

Remove the cover

To make a hole for the antenna of the
module, break the plate

out of the
cover.

With LAVIGO VTL: Loosen the screw
which is used for mounting the TIME
module.

NOTE:
When mounting the module,
ensure correct position of the antenna,
as otherwise the cover on the lumi-
naire head can no longer be mounted
correctly.

Insert the module

into the unused
area in the luminaire head, see Fig. 39.
With LAVIGO VTL: Move the lug of the
TALK module under the lug of the TIME
module.

Fasten the module using the delivered
short screws. With LAVIGO VTL: Use
the delivered long screw on one side
of the module to screw down the two
modules TALK and TIME.

Mount the cover on the luminaire head.
In doing so, pass the antenna of the
module through the hole in the cover.
