To avoid possible damage to the instrument or to equipment under test

Always apply thread seal tape to the threads of the gauge.
•
Do not exceed the maximum allowed torque or 10 Newton Meters (8 foot pounds.)
•
Never tighten the gauge threads by holding the body of the gauge. This could damage the gauge threads and
make the gauge inoperable. Use a wrench to tighten the gauge to the process.
•
When the access port(s) are not in use, keep the included dust cover protectors attached to prevent damage to
the connectors.
