How is a spray pattern produced ?
1. Thin the paint to the viscosity (thin/thick fluid) stated by
the manufacturer and put it into the spray gun. Only cor-
rectly diluted paints will give the optimal spraying result.
2. On the spray guns with a flow regulator, set the desired
flow rate.
3. Only spray over the gloss painted cardboard once. Spray-
ing for longer, until complete coverage of the cardboard
is achieved, will falsify the result.
4. The finished trial spray allows a classification to be given
for the atomisation (see reference spray patterns on page 35).
