Setting up the Refresh-o-mat
➤
Stand the Refresh-o-mat upright and securely in the foot area of the
passenger's seat (fig.
3 , page 3).
➤
Place the hose in the vicinity of the suction opening of the ventilation sys-
tem.
Setting the air-conditioning system

NOTE
You should not remove the pollen filter.
➤
Set the air-conditioning system:
– Set the temperature control to the lowest level (fig.
4 1, page 3).
– Set the blower to the lowest level (fig. 4 .2, page 3).
– Set the front ventilation (fig. 4 3, page 3) and open all air outlets on
the dashboard.
– Set to ventilation (fig. 4 4, page 3).

Manual air-conditioning systems: Switch off the air-conditioning system
(fig.
5 1, page 3).

Automatic air-conditioning systems: Set to “Economy” (fig. 4 6, page 3)
and the lowest temperature setting.
Starting the cleaning procedure

Connect the Refresh-o-mat (fig. 5 1, page 3) to the power supply.
➤ Get out of the vehicle and close the doors.

NOTICE!
Do not damage the power cable.
Do not inhale the spray.
➤
Allow the air-circulation/automatic air-conditioning system to run for about
20 minutes.

NOTE
The Refresh-o-mat stops automatically when the liquid reaches a
minimum level.
