Air Cleaner

See Graphic: wc_gr000840

Service air cleaner frequently to prevent carburetor malfunction. 

CAUTION:  NEVER run engine without air cleaner. Severe engine
damage will occur.

NEVER use gasoline or other types of low flash point solvents for
cleaning the air cleaner. A fire or explosion could result.

To service:

5.6.1

Remove air cleaner cover (a). Inspect element (b) for holes or tears.
Replace element if damaged.

5.6.2

Wash element in solution of mild detergent and warm water. Rinse
thoroughly in clean water.  Allow element to dry thoroughly.

Soak element in clean engine oil and squeeze out excess oil. 

5.6.3

Install element, grid plate (c), and air cleaner cover.
