TEST TUBE RACKS - Requires Platform accessory.

Installation of Half Size Test Tube Racks:

1.  Unit should be in standby mode.
2.  Remove non-skid rubber mat. Slide Platform over-top included tray.
3.   Using the hardware provided, attach brackets to the Platform. Position brackets as 

shown. The proper spacing between the brackets is 19,7cm.

4.  Align the test tube rack side-to-side with the brackets on the Platform.
5.   Press the test tube rack in place, you will hear the test tube rack clip into position. No 

mounting screws are required.

Installation of Full Size Pivoting Test Tube Racks (Model 5000I/5000IR Only):

1.  Unit should be in standby mode.
2.   Line up the 4 openings on the bottom of the outer rack with the four compatible 

openings on the Universal Platform. Secure with the four screws provided. 

3.  If a tilt angle is desired, loosen wing knobs, tilt inner holder and tighten knobs.
4.   To maximize the platforms capacity for holding racks in the stationary position, remove 

the outer holder and secure the inner holder to the Universal Platform using the four 
openings on the bottom of the inner holder.

Installation of Full Size Stationary Test Tube Racks (Model 5000I/5000IR Only):

1.   Line up the two openings on the sides of the test tube rack with the two compatible 

openings on the Universal Platform. 

2.   Place the washer on top of the opening on the test tube rack, place the clamp knob 

through the washer and rack and hand tighten the clamp knob to the platform.
