Purpose

Sets the service request enable register.

<mask> = Numeric ASCII value from 0 to 255

Query Response

Numeric ASCII value from 0 to 255

Description

The service request enable mask is used to control which bits in the status byte generate
back plane interrupts. If a bit is set in the mask that newly enables a bit set in the status
byte and interrupts are enabled, the module will generate a REQUEST TRUE event via
an interrupt. See the *STB? Command for the layout of bits.

Note:

Bit 6 is always

internally cleared to zero as required by IEEE 488.2 section 11.3.2.3.

The layout of the Service Request Enable Register is:
