When Smarty detects the tape measure,
the LCD will show the tape measure
animation and you will hear “You’ve got
your tape measure!” You will hear Smarty
begin to count and hear a melody. At
this time, the tape measure games are
activated.

Smarty will begin to ask you to measure
objects on him. Use the tape to measure
Smarty’s body parts.

After a few minutes of play, Smarty will invite you to play with other
projects in

Smarty’s Workshop™.

If Smarty does not receive any response from the tape measure for
approximately one minute, Smarty will automatically shut off the
connection with tape measure. To activate the play again, the child
needs to activate the tape measure near Smarty and start the game
play again.
