Character chart
Use the dial pad and the chart below to enter a name (up to 16 characters). Each press of a particular
key causes characters to be displayed in the following order:
• When entering characters, press
REMOVE
to backspace. To remove the entire name or number,
press and hold
REMOVE
for at least three seconds.
• To insert a dialing pause, press and hold
REDIAL/PAUSE
for at least three seconds until a
lowercase
p
appears on the handset screen.
•
When you enter a
name, the handset
will automatically
display the first
character of
each word in
uppercase.
• Press the up or
down NavKey
or to move the
cursor one space
to the left or right.
• Press
#
to enter a
space.
