Getting Started
Set up a user profile so your children can enjoy all the activities
and games

provided by Genio, My First Laptop.
1. CHARGE
your
Genio
using the supplied power adaptor.
A red light indicates charging is in progress. The light
will change to green when the device is fully charged. A
full charge will take about 3.5 hours. The battery should
be fully charged before first use or before attempting a
firmware update.
2. CREATE
the first user profile and set the system Date
and Time. You may also want to set a passcode to keep
the profile secure.
3. UNLOCK
the VTech Web Browser and Learning Lodge
TM
apps with the Parental Controls.

Connect to Wi-Fi

in Device Settings >> Wi-Fi Settings.

Unlock the VTech Web Browser under Child Profile
Manager >> App Permissions.
•
Register or login to a Learning Lodge™ account in Learning
Lodge™ Account Registration, and make sure Learning
Lodge™ is unlocked under Child Profile Manager >> App
Permissions.
