Answering system operation
Message playback
When playback begins, the total number of old or new messages is
announced. Before each message, you hear the day and time of the
recording. If the date and time are not set, you hear, “
Time and date
not set,
” before playback. After the last message, you hear, “
End of
messages.
” If the recording time is less than three minutes, you hear,
“
Less than three minutes to record.
” If there is no remaining recording
time, you hear “
Memory is full.
” If there are no recorded messages, the
screen shows
No messages
and you hear, “
You have no messages.
”
To play messages on a cordless handset:
Press
MENU
when the handset is not in use.
Press
SELECT
to select
Play messages
.
If you have only new or old messages, the messages play
automatically.

If you have both new and old messages, press or to scroll to
Play new msgs
or
Play old msgs
, then press
SELECT
.
Options during playback:

to adjust the message playback volume.

to skip to the next message.

to repeat the message. Press

twice to hear the
previous message.
Press
DELETE
to delete the playing message. The screen displays
Message deleted
. The system announces,
“Message deleted,”
and
then advances to the next message.
Press to switch between the handset speakerphone and the
handset earpiece.
Press to call back the caller. The screen displays
Call back?
Press
SELECT
to confirm or press
OFF
to cancel.
Press
SELECT
to pause the playback and view the caller’s
information. Then you can press or to call back.
