INSTALLATION
Overview of the Connectors

Installation Procedure
Please read the installation procedure carefully prior to the actual installation. Consult a
professional installer if you have any issues or concerns with the installation.
ATTENTION
1. We recommend that if you are going to use the cigarette lighter as the power source for

, the lighter socket needs to connect to the ignition.
2. Otherwise, you may have the following condition, after the car engine is turned off:

will continue to draw minimal power from the battery.

For many intelligent new cars,

may be detected as device not disconnected.
l
Car radio and

may become out of sync when you resume to listening to
5
. In this case, please read the troubleshooting section for the solution.
1. Select a location to store 5. For the best performance, please store it in the middle
and under the car’s glove compartment. For other locations, please store it away from metal
objects and in an open area.
2. Store 5 with the bottom cover up and the cables and connectors to the back.
3. Secure 5 on a chosen store location (e.g. in the middle and under the car’s glove
compartment) using the supplied dual lock tapes and/or screws. To apply the two dual lock
tapes, clean the
Affix Tape area on the back of 5, remove one side of the backing of
the dual lock tapes and adhere to the Affix Tape area, and then remove the other side of the
backing and adhere 5 to the chosen location.
