TRIMMING SHORT TO MEDIUM LENGTH BEARDS
USING THE U-BLADE TRIMMER HEAD WITH THE BEARD COMB
GUIDES
Trimming lengths – 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, OR 8mm
1. Attach the U-Blade trimmer head.
2. Attach one of the four BLACK guides (5mm, 6mm, 7mm or 8mm) to suit your
desired length .
3. If you require more than one cutting length, start with the longest length first.
4. Switch the trimmer on.
5. When trimming, hold the comb guide flat against the skin. For the most precise,
consistent trim, the tips of the teeth & the little corners protruding from the
comb should always be in contact with the skin. If not, the precision of the cut
may change.
6. It is suggested to trim the hair in the direction of hair growth, as trimming against
the direction of growth could cause a rash or irritation.
7. Pull the skin firmly with one hand during the trimming process to ensure the
closest trim possible.
8. Move the trimmer slowly & carefully, so as not to cut any hair you do not intend
to trim.
9. Trim, shape & define your facial hair as needed
10. To blend-in a shorter length use a shorter length comb guide & use in the same
way as above.
• The trimmer will work most efficiently when cutting through hair at its own speed.
• Never switch the appliance off whilst in the hair.
NOTE: The BLACK comb guides are only designed to fit the U-Blade trimmer head.
