Banner.jpg
This is the default image used by the default login pages. You
can
reference
this
image
on
your
customized
Internal_Portal.htm, or upload another file you prefer and
reference that.
Note: The default size for the uploaded Banner file is 519x57, or 10:1. You can upload a
sm aller or larger im age, but the browser will resize it and could distort your im age.

In addition to the default files, you can upload whatever files you want into the file
system. You can then reference them on your own HTML pages, or externally.
Each file uploaded is treated as a binary file. Each file is checked for size, and
rejected with a "file too large message" if the total of all files will exceed 2MB after
upload. There is no check against overwriting existing files.
All of the files are stored in a flat directory:
/uploads/
. If your HTML pages reference
directories other than
/uploads/
those files will not be loaded correctly. These files
can be accessed externally by
http://[Controller_IP]/uploads/<file
>. For example,
http://1.2.3.4/uploads/Internal_Portal.htm
Reset defaults
Selecting this option erases all files and resets default
pages. The Controller configuration is not affected by this.
However, resetting the Controller to defaults under
Maintenance – System Tools – Factory Settings will reset
the file system as well.

1. Custom banner on default login page
: This scenario gives you a simple
customized login that has the graphic image you want on it.
Set Customization – Login Page Customization – Login Page to Default
Change User and Password text if desired. Instead of “Username” and “Password”
you might want “Account” and “Pin” for example.
Upload a custom banner file graphic for the login page with your branding on it, or
the hotel, café, etc. You must upload a file named Banner.jpg.
