Q. I installed the VOX BLE-MIDI Driver but I cannot use the Bluetooth MIDI device.
A. Please check the following.
- Check if your PC meets the required specs. (Windows 8.1 or later, Bluetooth LE)
- Make sure you have the latest VOX BLE-MIDI Driver installed.
- Try removing the paired Bluetooth MIDI device and pair it again.
- Windows has an "Auto connect/disconnect feature for Bluetooth MIDI". When connecting
Bluetooth MIDI, you must launch the MIDI application.
- If you are using USB Bluetooth Adaptor, it may not work if you install the attached driver to
the USB Bluetooth Adaptor. Please uninstall the attached driver and check the connection.
- If you are using multiple MIDI devices, sometimes the Bluetooth MIDI Device will not work.
In such cases, follow the steps below to delete information on unused MIDI Devices and
reinstall the VOX BLE-MIDI Driver.
- Download and install the VOX USB-MIDI Driver from the VOX Website. Launch "Uninstall
VOX USB-MIDI Device". You will see a list of MIDI Devices. Delete devices that are not
being used.
Q. I cannot use Bluetooth MIDI device with USB Bluetooth Adaptor.
A. If you install the attached driver to the USB Bluetooth Adaptor, you will not be able to use
VOX BLE-MIDI Driver. Please uninstall the Driver attached to the USB Bluetooth Adaptor
and use the standard Windows driver.
If your PC has an internal Bluetooth feature, you must first disable the internal Bluetooth
feature to enable the USB Bluetooth Adaptor. Please refer to instructions of your PC and
disable the internal Bluetooth feature.
Q. Can I use multiple Bluetooth devices on one PC?
A. Yes, you can do so by installing the VOX BLE-MIDI Driver. However, it is not possible to
handle multiple devices simultaneously in Tone Room.
Q. Can I use the same Bluetooth MIDI device across multiple applications simultaneously?
A. No you can't.
