MOUNTING AND INITIAL SET-UP
WARNING
Heat build‑up may result in smouldering fire. The device must not be covered by
materials etc. during operation as this may lead to a build-up of heat and possibly
to a fire. Therefore, do not install the device in areas where there is a risk of fire
(e.g. hay and straw stores).
7.1 MOUNTING
WARNING
Risk of fire. Only mount the device on a fireproof base.
WARNING AGAINST ELECTRICAL VOLTAGES
Do not lay PVC cables at a temperature below +5°C.
NOTICE
The device can withstand all weather conditions (such as rain, splashed water,
sunshine, high temperatures and frost). Despite this, we recommend operating
the device somewhere that offers protection against the weather, e.g. house wall,
(roofed) shelter, stable, box or in an enclosed space such as a garage, summer
house, carport, shed or workshop.

Mount the device vertically on a suitable wall, e.g. using the supplied fixing screw.

A practical clip-mount bracket (item no.: 41150) is also available as a separate
accessory. This lets you install the energiser on a conventional DIN rail.

Before connecting the device to your fence, you have the option of checking that
it is working correctly (see section

Check that the device is switched off and the mains plug (5) is disconnected from
the power supply.
