with a little dish washing liquid.

Disassembling the VORTEX

Remove the connecting ring,
and the mask if it is attached.
Leave the mouthpiece and the
open protective cap on the
inhalation chamber.

Rinse all parts thoroughly
with fresh, clean water.

Disinfection
The VORTEX
®
including the
mask can be disinfected in a
steam disinfector.

Possible alternative:
Place all the parts in boiling
water for at least 5 minutes.
Make sure that the VORTEX
®
is completely immersed
throughout the process.

Drying
Allow the VORTEX
®
to dry at
room temperature. Because of
the antistatic properties of the
VORTEX
®
, you can also dry it
with a clean tea towel.
Storage
Fit all the parts of the VORTEX
®
back together again and store it
safely in a dry, dust-free place.

Hold the VORTEX
®
mouthpiece
between your teeth and enclose
it with your lips.
Press the MDI once with your
thumb to trigger a puff of spray.

Breathe in slowly and deeply.
Hold your breath briefly and then
breathe out again through the
mouthpiece. If the doctor treating
you has prescribed two or more
puffs per application, repeat
steps 4 and 5.
