The hard drive for the .évasion box

This guide describes the instructions for installing the hard drive. The box comes with a pre-installed hard drive and is
ready to be used.

Locating the hard drive
The hard drive is located on the left side of the box
(when looking at the box from the front), as shown in the
illustration below.

Ejecting the hard drive
Press firmly on the arrow on the left side of the control
lever. The lever is released on the right.
The protruding part of the lever will be used as a handle
to remove the hard drive.

Removing the hard drive from the box
To remove the hard drive from the chassis of the box,
grasp the handle between your thumb and forefinger
and gently pull the hard drive out of the box.
When the hard drive is partially ejected and the handle is
released, it retracts.

Removing the new hard drive from
its packaging
Remove the hard drive from its packaging, and keep
these operating instructions. If possible, recycle the
packaging materials or reuse them if you need to return
the hard drive for repair.
We strongly recommend that you read this entire guide before replacing the
.évasion
hard drive.
1. Press the power button or standby button (Power/STBY) of the box to switch it off.
2. Disconnect the box by pressing the on/off switch on the back of the device (to do so, turn the switch to “0”).
3. Unplug the power cable of the decoder before proceeding with the following steps.
