TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
Check the batteries and ensure they have
been installed according to the correct
polarity.
Clean the Infrared Sensor using a clean,
dry cloth.
Check the Infrared Sensor for debris/dirt
and clean if necessary.
Check for blockages and remove if
necessary.
If the Lid has come into contact with
any liquid, leave in a well ventilated area
to dry.
Ensure that the Sensor Bin is turned on
using the ON/OFF Switch.
Replace the batteries.
Use slow, deliberate hand movements
directly over and close to the Infrared
Sensor.
Clean the Infrared Sensor using a clean,
dry cloth.
Batteries are low. Replace with new
ones.
Check that the batteries have been
installed correctly.
