Specifying a destination with an
address
A destination can be specified in different ways -
specifying an address is one of them.
Tap on Set dest. (Set dest.), at
the bottom of the screen - the
map image changes to search
via address with its search field.
Example of a search field - they may vary depending on
the market/region.
Note that the search options described here are
not available for all markets/regions - the screen
shows only the available search options for the
current search area.
Select one of the available text field options and
type using the centre display keyboard:

Country / State / Province
•
City
/
Territory
/
Postcode
•
Address
•
Number
•
Junction

Save the destination with "Send to
Car"
A destination can be specified in different ways -
using the Send to Car function (Send to Car) is
one of them.
Send to Car (Send to car) is a function that
makes it possible to add a destination or position
to the car's navigation system via a computer.
The Send to Car function can also be effected
with a mobile telephone via Volvo's VOC (Volvo
On Call) service. VOC can even be used if a des-
tination/position needs to be sent to the car from
the VOC centre.
Mark the desired position and select "Send this location
to car".
