Route the cable down from the headlining along the right A-post
Tape the cable onto the existing cable harness as illustrated (1).
Warning!
Ensure that the inflatable curtain is not trapped and does not
catch on the antenna cable.

Fold the right hand carpet back into place at the front seat
Thread the extension cable (1) down between the A-post and
the right hand side of the dashboard. Route the cable at the front
edge of the floor
Route the cable along the front edge of the floor to the left, to the
inside of the centre console.
Applies when installing the carphone
Connect the extension cable (1) to the remaining cable (2) from
the carphone holder.
Illustration B applies to cars with other installed carphone
antennas
Find the joint between the cable for the existing antenna and the
cable from the carphone holder. The antenna cable is routed
along the air ducts (1) and then down under the carpet, where
the cable splice is
Remove the two covers (2) from the front mounting for the seat
to gain access under the carpet
Detach the two cables from each other
Pull the new antenna cable downwards. Connect the antenna
cable where the old cable was disconnected
Remove the old antenna if necessary.
Applies to all models
Connect both connectors (3) at the right A-post to each other
Wrap the foam tape around the connectors to prevent rattling.
Secure the cable using butyl tape.
